However, the hotel itself provides a nice stay with clean rooms, excellent breakfast options, and convenient parking. The bar service may be slow and inefficient when handling larger crowds, but the food is enjoyable. Despite some room deficiencies, the friendly staff and good meals make for a pleasant experience. A great value for money, especially on a busy Friday night when the staff provide efficient and friendly service.
Took my partner on a date afternoon ,afternoon tea to Westwood hall as it came up in the top 10 afternoon teas in Leeds. 66£ for what was maybe a 12£ and that’s being generous platter of what can be called 2 bite sandwiches which can be made at home for one tenth the price, one bite cakes which defiantly did not taste like they were made fresh and go find a member of staff even tho it’s empty for a coffee top up even though there was only us and a handful of other people in there. If I had known how poor it was going to be I wouldn’t have bothered the platter was NOTHING like what’s advertised on the website. Where was the wooden awesome looking display that it shows on the website. Certainly not on our table, very very disappointing and we certainly wouldn’t ever recommend afternoon tea there. Very over priced for a mediocre afternoon tea.
We went to Weetwood Hall for afternoon tea as part of a baby shower. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Unfortunately the afternoon tea was a let down. The size of the portions were miniture. This was very disappointing, as i have been several times and this is the first time I have come away disappointed.
Weetwood Hall ... situated in lovely ground (June ‘23) and nice building, plenty of parking (remember to register at reception), our room was standard double, (compact), clean, no bath, small shower and toilet room, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, tv, table and chairs .. breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, cereals, hot full English, fruit etc, toast, tea/coffee/fruit juice .. Restaurant pricey and not much selection, pizza, fish and chips, burger .. also the stables pub, similar menu but cheaper .. all-in-all nice place to stay .. ideal for Emmerdale Tour stay, with coach provided at New Inn Pub ... try Lord Dacey pub for good cheaper meal, but can be busy.
Excellent food and great value for money. Staff led by Greta were excellent on a friday night service. The staff waiting on us and bringing us food were quick, professional and friendly. Had a great meal that was delicious and of good quality.
Visited here for a business meeting and had two nights of stay in the hotel. The place looks eloquent and romantic from the outsite. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are good. Friendly waiters, good reception. The rooms do not quite live up to the expectations in the sense that they are old and not well equipped (old iron, no hairdryer, small cupboard, outdated bathroom) But still, all more t
