The food is delicious, with excellent carvery options, although some customers have reported that the meals were not warm enough. The prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Booking a table in advance is recommended, as the restaurant can get busy during peak times. Overall, Chapel Allerton Toby provides a satisfying dining experience with great value for money, making it a popular choice for many diners looking for a hearty meal in a welcoming environment.
For Christmas dinner. the staff was super friendly, cheerful and helpful. the food was delicious and beer well kept. thank you for making a real tasty bite for christmas.
Food here is great for the price, always come away full and happy. My mum is on a mobility scooter and the staff are accommodating and make room so she can go get her own plate at the carvery buffet, which is nice. There is a ramp in and a clean disabled toilet so accessible as well.
Arrived early but were still shown to a table straight away (Table 7). Ordered drinks which were brought to the table as we went for our Carvery. Great selection of meats vegetables. Excellent roasties in beef dripping with beautifully thick gravy delicious! Waiter was excellent courteous, patient not pushy or trying to rush us. A very enjoyable dinner at Chapel Allerton fully fuelled couldn't eat another thing. Excellent value for money.
Very good value. Quick dinner. Good choice of sides
As a regular customer, the meals are always top class although on occasions the carvery is sometimes not warm enough. I don't think you can get such value for money any where else. My last visit was with my daughter and son in law on a visit home from Australia who said it was the best meal they had had since they had been in UK. We tend to have the carvery and both the meat and choice of veg was as usual superb
