The Palace - Leeds

Went in today .Really quiet .Asked if they had Sky Sports as none of the TVs were on . Said they would put on Still waiting 10 minutes later and it then came on but only to show adverts for the pubs products just in case we couldn't read a menu or look at a bar Typical chain public with eating the focus now .I first came in over 30 years ago when it was a far better pub and less pretentious. Pretty much a fiver for a Guinness , so not cheap either. People who just want a drink feel like annoying add ons to the operation of pumping out chain grub .

Excellent pub, a lot of drinks to choose from! Staff are welcoming and friendly and the food was really nice! They have plenty of tvs and show sport! Will be back for another visit for sure

Ate here on a Saturday night. We ordered a mega mixed grill and a mixed grill. We had asked for well done but not to the point where everything was more than well done. Everything was a bit black. When asked at the end whether it was all ok, we told the lovely waitress about our food and credit to the pub, they offered us all a free drink which was a nice touch. We will try here again and hopefully it’ll be a bit better next time.

Food was nicely cooked, served at the appropriate time, good quality and reasonably priced. The staff were both attentive and informative as to what was happening. As a group of 14 it all went very smoothly. We sat in an alcove and the staff made sure that no walk-ins sat in any empty seats in our reserved area.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The meal was delicious and reasonably priced, the service was quick, and the drinks were affordable. The staff was friendly and attentive.
