The Lakeside Cafe - Leeds

We had hoped that this café had improved since our last visit. The view of the sea is beautiful, but unfortunately, that is the only positive aspect. The service was terrible, the food took a long time to arrive, it was overpriced, and not very good. We will not be visiting again.

Great place for a pit stop midday snack homemade mushroom soup and tuna sandwich and panini . we thought that reasonable prices and eating was very delicious. interesting building with good view from the lake

I recently visited this restaurant for lunch with my family. We were seated immediately and served quickly. However, the fizzy drinks we ordered were flat because they were poured from a large bottle that had been used all day. It took a while to get someone's attention, but they eventually swapped them for individual small bottles, which were much better. The food was disappointing. My open sandwich with smoked salmon and prawns was so bad that my father left half of it uneaten. The club sandwich was also lacking in filling, and the chips we ordered were returned because they were too hard. After we had finished eating, we were served fresh chips that were hot but flavorless. It was difficult to get anyone's attention to address these issues. Sadly, we will not be returning to this restaurant in the future, even though we visit the park regularly. We will save our money next time. I am not sure what went wrong with our experience.

Yesterday afternoon, our child wanted to go to the snow, so we took a short trip to a nearby restaurant. We decided to have breakfast there, and I ordered an egg sandwich despite not having been there since I was a child. We were greeted warmly and seated at a table of our choice. The presentation of the food was beautiful, but the prices were high and the quality was lacking. The food looked appetizing but was practically inedible. The child's meal included a bowl of sweet, frozen chips that were as hard as toffee. If I had known the quality was so poor, I would never have gone there and will not be returning. Overall, a disappointing experience.

I’m going to skip the moody teenager who didn’t utter a word as she put the tray of drinks down and ran away as fast as her feet could carry her and get right to my picture. How dare u charge for this? Packets...of factory bought pre cooked chicken with one pinch of cheese and a side salad! I understand your expenses will be high but it gives u no excuse to produce food like this, it wasn’t edible! You need to understand your business isn’t busy due to good service and good food. It’s only. Busy as you are literally the ONLY OPTION!
