I have been a regular at Strawbs for many years. I have celebrated many special occasions such as birthdays and Christmas here. I recently hosted my partner's 30th birthday party at Strawbs and Yvette and Kevin were fantastic. They allowed us to hire the top floor for free and provided a buffet for us. We decorated the space and had live music, with the option of playing our own music later in the evening. Strawbs has a genuine and welcoming atmosphere, which is rare to find. The prices of drinks are very reasonable and you can always have a friendly chat with the staff. It is a popular spot for students from both Universities, as well as visitors, staff, and anyone looking for a good time with friends. Even the Kaiser Chiefs have been known to visit! If you haven't been to Strawbs yet, I highly recommend it. And if you have, I hope to see you there again soon!

Located at the end of the Otley Run in Leeds, Strawbs is a bar inspired by The Beatles' song "Strawberry Fields." The exterior is easily recognizable by its bright red color, and inside you'll find images of The Beatles. The bar, often referred to as Strawbs, used to sell hoodies and other merchandise with a list of all the pubs on the Otley Run, although they no longer do so. While the staff encourages patrons to play their own music on a laptop provided, be prepared for a bit of a wait as the laptop is quite slow. The atmosphere is friendly and the drinks are affordable, but some may feel that the bar could use a refresh.

A great little find on the A19 to York. All Day Breakfast for £5. Good sized portions. You can choose to have scrambled rather than fried eggs. A proper cafe spot.
