Was Anonym at Shezzaans a mag?
This is the first time we have tried this restaurant since moving nearby. The interior is modern, sleek and welcoming. The staff were attentive but not over bearing. The menu was extensive and yet reasonable in price. We will definitely be returning as it was...one the best restaurants we’ve visited over the years. The lamb hyderbadi was absolutely gorgeous and the madras flavours rich and superb. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Shezzaans:
Can’t comment on the food as turned away the collection as it took over hours to arrive despite calling the restaurant times ro be told lie after lie, or minutes away/ just left the restaurant/ be with you soon etc. Finally...decided to cancel but couldn’t get through on the phone as it was constantly busy. Absolute joke of a place! View all feedback.

Took my wife daughter here for a curry, food was great, service couldn't be faulted and you certainly can't complain about the prices.
Very good choice friendly staff food is plentiful and full of flavour not very big inside but not a problem very enjoyable
We visited this amazing restaurant to celebrate my daughters birthday and i must say what a hardworking team of people they were. There were seventeen of us and the food and service were superb.
I thought the food here was authentic and delicious. The service however was virtually none existent. The waiter barley interacted with our table at all and was very slow, indeed one couple walked out. That said, when the food came you could not fault it. Delicious and huge starter portions. So would I go back..... Yes I would just don't go expecting good service.
The food is great, when it arrives! My wife and I have been to this restaurant twice in the last month. The first time we went was great, it was on a Friday evening at 8pm. We were seated in the window and enjoyed a fabulous meal. We loved being able to take our own drinks, which has a positive impact on the over all bill. The service was good and the waiting staff were attentive. We were so impressed that we decided to return two weeks later with our family (Saturday, 8pm). This time we were seated upstairs the restaurant was a bit busy but not packed. After ordering, the popadoms and starters arrived promptly, however after this the joyous experience descended into despair. There was a rather loud mouthed individual who was stuffing his face at the next table (not the fault of the restaurant). Sadly we had to listen to this moron for the best part of two hours before our main course arrived....... when the food did arrive it was not warm. The next time we decide to go out for a curry we shall not be going back. However we may order a takeaway from here, at least then we will be able to heat up the food, which when all is said and done was very nice.
Mixed reviews from customers who have dined in or ordered takeaway from the restaurant. Some have had poor experiences citing rude staff, cold food, and long wait times. Others have praised the delicious food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. While the restaurant offers great value with an Early Bird Special, it only accepts cash payments. Accessibility might be an issue for some patrons. Overall, opinions are divided, so potential customers may want to consider both positive and negative feedback before deciding to dine in or order takeaway from this establishment.

Visited on Christmas, great for a change. all staff were very friendly and accommodating. eating is always great and they have not disappointed. it brings your own alcohol.
I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The service was impeccable, the prices were very affordable, and I would definitely come back again. They only accept cash and allow you to bring your own alcohol. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the menu offered a wide variety of choices.
Beautiful curries. reasonable prices and they can bring their own alcohol. there is a tasty alcohol next door that makes it practical.
I recently visited a curry house in my neighborhood and was impressed by the very friendly and efficient staff. They have an excellent selection of vegetarian dishes and the curries are top-notch and reasonably priced. One great perk is that you can bring your own alcoholic drinks without a corkage charge. The only downside is that the restaurant is not very accessible, with two tall steps at the front door and a narrow entrance that makes it difficult for wheelchairs. Also, they only accept cash payments.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is pleasant. We tried the mixed starter, lamb keema with peas, fish masala, and mushroom pakora, and enjoyed all of them. They even accommodated my friend's request for a spinach paratha, even though it wasn't on the menu. This small restaurant is no frills but it was quite busy on a midweek night, which is a good sign. The meal was filling and good value for money, coming to just over £50 for the three of us.
