One reviewer mentioned the lack of atmosphere and unhelpful staff. However, others had a more positive experience, praising the peaceful ambience, attentive staff, and delicious food. Overall, opinions on the restaurant were varied, but it seems like it might be worth giving it a try to see for yourself.
Not sure we just went on a free day, but absolutely one of the worse culinary experiences I probably had. The menu was completely different from the one online and I don't even know where to start serving staff that was incredibly unhelpful, my chicken wasn't even edible black on the outside and dry inside that had to be sent back
We ate in the bar as it was a quiet Thursday. 6 of us ate, 4 divided 2 Chateaubriand, as it was on offer at £35 per pair. The starters were fine, but the net was excellent. Service was first class.
Service, especially the bar staff was really poor. They were too busy chatting with each other as customers to serve. The staff was young and had no idea what a mix of whisky was compared to a malt. It's best I can say about eating that it was okay.
We wanted to have a lovely meal before going to a show. The ambience of the restaurant was ideal. So lovely and peaceful and we could hear ourselves talk. Food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. This was a marvellous start to our whole evening. Will be back again.
Everyone at the restaurant, from the doorman to the bar staff and the waitresses, was very friendly and helpful.
