Description
Bramley's offers a varied experience in the world of fish and chips, capturing both praise and criticism from diners. While many celebrate the delicately battered fish and perfectly cooked chips, others lament inconsistencies in quality, particularly when the shop is busy. Customers appreciate the accommodating service, including options for gluten-free and halal diets, alongside innovative takeout solutions during the pandemic. However, issues like overcooked chips, reduced portion sizes, and unsatisfactory responses to dietary inquiries have deterred some from returning. Overall, Bramley's remains a beloved local spot for many, proving that dedication to quality can yield both delightful and occasionally disappointing meals.

Really enjoyed the fish chips lovely crispy batter chips fantastic, curry sauce forgot to take pics of food lol, staff really good
I used to really enjoy the fish and chips here, having defected to murgatroyds a few years ago. I tried them on a whim one evening so placed an order online to collect from the shop. My order was ready on arrival. The fish and chips however were a disappointment, the batter was flat, thick and still a bit undercooked on the inside. The fish size was decent so not all bad news. The chips were also a bit undercooked for my liking. Sorry to say I won't be back again in a hurry
