The recent menu change has garnered mixed reactions; some appreciate the improvements, while others lament the alterations. Concerns about hygiene and value for money have emerged, leading some to recommend alternatives. Overall, this restaurant presents a dichotomy of commendable service and fluctuating food quality, prompting a cautious approach for potential diners seeking a satisfied culinary experience.
Burger meat was raw and the bun was sweet they have changed the menu, won’t be going again, staff were friendly one staff had facial piercings how hygienic this was when cooking?
If you are looking for a menu that caters to dietary restrictions, be prepared to pay extra for it. Despite having to make modifications to my burger to accommodate my allergies, I was charged an additional fee for the allergen-free option. On top of that, the waitress got my order wrong and the food was only lukewarm. It was disappointing to pay nearly £15 for a chicken dish and not receive the quality I expected.
I came and ordered a peppered beef burger with elderflower fizz. I guess with it being handmade it reduces the flavour as it didn't have much of a taste, and there was only subtle bursts of flavour coming from the elderflower. Would be nice if...they started adding flavour as I won't come again. Nevertheless the staff were friendly and courteous.
Please heed my warning and avoid this sub-par restaurant at all costs. It is so bad that I feel it is my duty to inform people of how abysmal it is. The food is quite simply disgusting. Go to Five Guys round the corner ..cheaper and really tasty, with fabulous fries and milkshakes. Don't waste your hard-earned cash here. Whoever is running this joint should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. A total disaster and major rip-off.
Today there are so many types of burger houses, when it used to be only wimpey, burger king and maccas. I am really happy that there are more choice now and in the location, the next level go, and get a knife and folk if so. wish them great service, great burger and a great atmosphere in handmade burger co, leeds. worth visiting.
