The fish was delicious very tasty and in a lovely crispy battery and the chips we also very good and not at all greasy. The place is well run by very efficient staff who were very helpful. The place is clean and ride and the tables are cleared immediately. A very good lunch and will definitely return.
One of the employees at the restaurant made an elderly woman go to the other end of the restaurant to collect her dinner from the counter, instead of bringing it to her. The staff member walked over to her to inform her, rather than bringing her the food. This kind of service is very poor, showing a lack of manners and respect for customers, especially the elderly.
I paid £8 for fish and chips that were served on flimsy paper plates with plastic utensils. They even charged 30p for tomato sauce! It's ridiculous. I suggest going to McDonald's in the food court instead, grabbing a snack, and then stopping by a real fish and chip shop on your way home.
I went Christmas shopping and found this restaurant to be the least busy. Unfortunately, I soon discovered why. The prices were high, the food was tasteless, and the service was mediocre. We ordered fish and chips, sausage and chips, curry sauce with mushy peas, and a side of onion rings. The fish was average, the chips were not crispy, and the mushy peas and curry sauce were watery. The worst part was the onion rings, which tasted like cheap frozen ones. I was disappointed overall, especially since it's not difficult to make fresh onion rings in a fish and chip shop.
Over priced food. No scraps so tbh it's not fish and chips without them. Staff are touching their face and nose and not washing there hands. Yes they wear gloves but ibwas there for 30mins if not more and not one did hand hygiene. I asked for halal fish and it was swimming in oil and could not taste the fish because of all the oil. I used to like this place but since new ownership it has gone down in the drain. I will not recommend there to anyone. This is the oil as you can see.
