I attended with 3 other people, feedback is the £11.95 2 course menu was excellent though 1. not enough toast brioche was provided with the Pate 2. Gluten free menu was not included in the £11.95 menu offer so MY meal cost £22.75 by comparison (not good value) as a person with an autoimmune disease I felt discriminated against View all feedback.
What Lisa A doesn't like about Browns Brasserie Leeds:
We ordered a pork dinner and a beef dinner. What we received was delicious, but we noticed that other diners were being served with more vegetables and some parts of the meal were missing (such as stuffing and crackling from the pork dinner). For dessert, we ordered the trio, which was enjoyable, but the cinnamon sponge was more like a cinnamon bun rather than a traditional sponge cake. This was quite disappointing. View all feedback.
Expects more. the place looks tired unfortunately eating was not great. masche was pretty sure about the edges, it wasn't fresh kartoffel. pie was very mediocre. service sufficient, but the personal was not really important when it tells about eating. more places that a service fee on the bill. today paid, but was not justified. as a restaurant owner we always leave at least 20, % if good, but only the 10, % if it is added to bill will not be discarded
Although the venue was excellent, we were disappointed by the limited menu options and although beer on the tap at the bar, they could not serve it to tables, some 10yds away. service was good, but overall not what we expected.
The evening was with very good service by emily. I have a complaint when shopping for a long day around 17 o'clock, we asked if we could dive. the managerin in the writing asked if we had a booking that we replied to no. she continued saying that the restaurant was booked all night, what we answered ok then we will only stay for a drink. While I was waiting for my man to serve, I looked online and from 6.15 o'clock there were tables so I booked 6.15 o'clock at 17.30 o'clock was another manager present and I said we had a table at 6.15 o'clock, but if you were available we would like to eat earlier. she informed us that we had the table if we wanted it. that were 30 minutes after we asked the first managerin who told us that the restaurant was spelled all night. very upset, but very grateful for the second manager.
Great service, hood menu and great fresh ingredients. made for a great Saturday afternoon in leeds. the espresso martini made a good dessert.
Food was great but order not quite correct (normal fries rather than chunky). Wine was average quality (NZ Sauvignon Blanc) but Rose was not served cold.
