Menu
A comprehensive menu of Ambiente Tapas from Leeds featuring all 38 dishes and drinks can be found here on the menu.
Ambiente Leeds opened in 2012 in a historic Grade II listed building in the city center. With its bare brick walls, stripped floors, and exposed steelwork, the restaurant offers a casual dining experience inspired by Spain's tabancos. Our talented chefs cook tapas to order in a fire-breathing Josper oven, while the bar area is perfect for enjoying a glass of sherry or wine with a light bite. Guests can also relax on our south facing balcony overlooking the River Aire, making it an ideal spot to savor some tapas and sherry on a nice day.

Feedback
Ambiente Tapas in Leeds offers a varied dining experience, marked by standout service and great ambiance. While many patrons praise the delicious food and attentive staff, some express disappointment over certain dishes, particularly the bland paella and misinterpreted vegan options. The restaurant's dedication to accommodating dietary needs is commendable, with tailored menus for vegans and allergies. However, cleanliness in the facilities leaves room for improvement. Despite these inconsistencies, the festive atmosphere and innovative offerings make Ambiente a popular choice for celebrations and gatherings, with many eager to return for the enticing tastes and warm hospitality.
Excellent service and eating. I don't think there was a difference except personal with visuals that didn't make any difference.
WOW! Quite possibly the BEST Tapas we've had. Ever. All dishes we had were AMAZING! It was a last minute decision to come here as we were just passing. So glad we did. It is now our favourite Tapas place. Staff very friendly and good speed on food and drinks. 5/5 for everything. We eat out a lot so know good food, you really won't be disappointed!
Great place inside and nice balcony with a lovely view on River Aire. Taps and white wine was pretty good. And the staff was really kind and friendly!
Did not book but the guy did tell us that we may have to wait a while before been served. Luckily we were served almost straight away but appreciate the advanced warning. The food was really good and service were great Fran was a lovely waitress. Would definitely go again
I have to say, this restaurant was a huge disappointment. We had booked for a group of 12 and arrived with high expectations, only to be let down. The service was incredibly slow, taking about 20 minutes just to take our drink orders. Although the sangria took a while to arrive, it was very basic and lacking in flavor. The rest of the meal was equally disappointing, with all the dishes blending together and lacking in taste and effort. The portions were tiny, even for tapas standards, and some dishes were greasy. The paella was bland and the seafood version had very few prawns. Overall, the experience was lackluster and left me feeling disappointed. If I had to compare, I would say this restaurant is as authentic to Spanish tapas as Taco Bell is to real Mexican food.
