This charming bar is located in the bustling area of Meanwood. It has a spacious frontage that gets plenty of sun in the afternoon. The bar offers a wide selection of beers and lagers. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Definitely a place worth checking out. View all feedback.
What Odinsson Ragnarok dislikes about Alfred:
Seems the current manager cares nothing about the customers, or the beer being served. It has gotten really bland over the recent years. No effort into mixing up stock at all. Bland as Bland can be, gone from the main place to be in Meanwood to the one you go to when the local tory club round the corner closes. Absolute shame given the strides previous managers had taken. What else can I say about this fabulous tiny bar of joy? I can say that I've been back several times and consistently enjoyed it.
I have been eager to visit Alfred for a while now, as I am a fan of North Bar and Further North.
Forever on the hunt for decent beer, called in for a few whilst passing with a m8, part of the north bar, Schneider Weisse on tap is getting harder to find,
Been going since it opened and I love it more to this day than I did the first time going. My favourite all time bar and I’m lucky to have it on my door step!!!
