The meal we were served was excellent and the... read more My wife and I had a wonderful time at the 1844 restaurant yesterday 7-2-22 celebrating our 34 wedding anniversary. The meal we were served was excellent and the ambiance quaint and charming. Both of us where wanting a very relaxed and quiet dinner and wewe're not disappointed. The staff was pleasant and accommodating and we got our appetizers, salads and entrees very quickly.Both of us were very pleased with the evening we spent there and would like to once again share our compliments to the chef aswell as the owner of the establishment and our waitress for marvelous anniversary meal. I would reccomend the 1844 restaurant toall who wish to have a delicious meal in a quaint country setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city anytime. We doplan on visiting again hopefully in the near future! And I do suggest the Crem brulee and the New York cheesecake with raspberrytopping for desert!????

We enjoyed delicious cocktails and appetizers, followed by exceptional entrees that were some of the best I've ever had. My combination of Blackened New Zealand King Salmon and Prime Rib cooked medium rare was outstanding. The salmon was incredibly tender and flavorful, while the prime rib was perfectly seasoned and allowed the natural flavors of the meat to shine. Our server Karen was fantastic, possibly the best I've ever had, and she made our dining experience even more special. She was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the restaurant's history and charm. Karen was also great with my son, who was fascinated by the building's architecture and decor. It was a unique and special evening that I will always remember. Although we didn't have room for dessert, Karen described the options so vividly that we'll be sure to save room for it on our next visit. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere at the 1844 Restaurant were outstanding. We can't wait to come back!
