We have previously tried the chicken at this restaurant and decided to order it again. We were not disappointed. The chicken was crispy and juicy. We also tried their shakes, although I couldn't taste the pineapples, they were still delicious and thick. The fresh maize fritters with jam were also tasty. Burger Barn has been my favorite for many years. The flavors are always great and the burgers are fried just right! Oh, and the pnion rings are aewsome! The burgers use to be thick but in the last few years, the burgers have gotten thinner. The sause on the mushroom burger is not as flavorful as it once was. Regardless of the decline in portion size, it still is one of my favorite burger joints.Definitely will return... View all feedback.
I am here solely for the fritters and gravy. They ditched the frozen ones and are now making their own. They are good. Bigger and better than before. My wife had the chicken nuggets and liked them. They were frozen but had a different coating...which was really great. They are family run and owned. Friendly. Helpful. On the bad side there is no indoor seating. The parking lot is 50 years old and gravel with potholes. I would definitely stop in again. Its a local alberta gem.
We have tried a lot of little Mom and Pop shops for different meals this has got to be one of if not the best ever. Thier mushroom burgers are to die for a must try.
We love the burgers, fries and rings from this Burger Baron! Shakes are awesome too. Although they do not have an inside eating area when the weather is nice there is a picnic table outside that you can enjoy. Service is fast and friendly and the food is delicious!
