A secret place that doesnt come any better!!! Spent a few days here and wow was I surprised.
We visited here around 2wks ago, my review won't publish on Trip Advisor, staff and hotel absolutely beautiful couldn't fault it and couldn't fault any of the other family members food either, presented beautiful and tasted good. My review is purely down to my own food, I ordered a roast beef and the cut of meat I had was extremely poor to the point it wouldn't cut and I couldn't even chew it, I spoke to a young lady and I asked her could she pass onto the chef as my meat was so poor and couldn't be eaten. She came back saying the chef had explained I must of had a bad cut, not the answer really when the set menu is £29.95, maybe I should of spoke up sooner and asked for another cut of beef. The rest of the party had no complaints and the roast potatoes are simply amazing, but for me I won't be returning as I was let down by my meal and the whole attitude of the chef, maybe he was just having a bad day which we all can have. Interesting place. Cosy interior. I wouldn't say food was five star, but acceptable. Automatic 12% on the bill, which wasn't warranted to be honest. A bit pretentious overall. Service: 4 Location: 4
