My girlfriend and I had dinner in this nice restaurant for a low price, not too far away from the centre of Lecco. The dinner was good and surprising, the amount of food was great and both of the dishes we ordered were very tasty. We absolutely recommend this place and will be happy to go back again

Zerograno is one of the BEST restaurants I have been to in the US, Europe or anywhere in the world. If you are in Lecco or live in Lecco, you must go! I was in Lecco for vacation (and my boyfriend was playing in the World Ultimate Frisbee tournament there) and I actually stayed with the owner of Zerograno and her family. I stayed upstairs from the restaurant, so I went here almost every night while in town. Aside from the amazing food, I just want to say that the owner Sylvia, her husband and her two children are amazing. They run this restaurant themselves (with the help of a chef and one or two waitresses, but you could very easily be waited on by Sylvia herself). They work hard to make sure this restaurant is a great experience with great food, and let me tell you, they succeed. The name is Zerograno because everything here is gluten free. Gluten free pasta?!?! In Italy!?!? YES! And it is amazing. The first night I had a risotto that had blueberries and some other fruits in it, but was still clearly a risotto. I wasn't really all that sweet, but the slight sweetness from the berries was a perfect compliment. The menu is past heavy, it is Italy after all, but it is all good and you can't go wrong with any option. The house wine is also amazing. Eat all of the desserts too! While we were there, Sylvia had a prix fix menu each night. At that time it was about 20-24 Euro for a 3 course meal. Great price, great value, great everything. We recommend Zerograno to some of the people from the tournament that were in town from the States as well and they said that this was the BEST dining experience they had in all of Italy. Part of it is because Sylvia and her family chat with you, engage you, and really make sure you are well taken care of. In true European form, a dinner can and should last a few hours. I will forever remember Sylvia, her family and Zerograno. One of the best experiences of all of my travels!

We went with friends, none of whom require gluten-free food, and enjoyed a wonderful meal and excellent service. The proprietor speaks English well, and served us generously and hospitably.

I ate dinner at Zerograno and it was excellent. The food is without fault including one of the best tagliata (fillet steak) that I have had. The prices are also very reasonable. I had primo, secondo (with contorno) and dessert with 0.5 l of wine and water and the bill was less than €30. I see that they also do menu at lunch which is very cheap so I'll be back for that! The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. Not formal but smart and tastefully casual. The proprietors, Silvia and Achi are really nice too. Highly recommended!
