I took two pizzas with my wife, and we found them really big, well cooked and very stuffed. the place is very characteristic, and very kind and friendly managers. great service. average price. I feel like recommending it.

Here on a Tuesday night and its a great atmosphere. Not full but busy. Menu is good but not in English. Nothing glamorous. Just good local food for those who want a nice local meal. Most people are eating the great pizzas. Host is super friendly and helpful. Speaks reasonable English. It has that warm feeling. I stayed at the NH hotel and debated walking to one of the more popular restaurants in the town or at lakeside but glad I chose this. 9 mins walk. They also have a small but good selection of well maintained, draught beers (IPA, largers). All nice. I would be so happy if this was my local Italian. Just watching people walking out. They are all smiling. What does that say?

All the meat dishes, the pizza and the risotto were outstanding. Desserts were homemade, and even the house wine was very Nice after 30 minutes. We considered the meal to be good value and the ambiance was tasteful, but familial. most of the other patrons were local and obvious 'regulars ' always a good sign.
