The interior is intimate or you can take in the city street life by sitting at one of the outside tables. The owner Stephania makes you feel like you are dining at home sitting at her kitchen table enjoying the food the locals grew up with. Everything we had was excellent. This has become one of my local favorites. My only regret is that I had not found Re Mida until I had lived here for 5 months!

The wines are some of the best in the region. The service is friendly attentive. The restaurant itself is decorated in a fresh traditional style. The atmosphere is so welcoming that I want to keep on going back.... Truly a wonderful culinary experience the pittule, the polpette, the burrata, the cuceri e tria are all amazing. Highly recommended!

Visiting Lecce for the first time I wanted to try th... read more We visited Re Mida on the 25th of December Christmas Day and this was one of the few places opens that day. Visiting Lecce for the first time I wanted to try the Pugliese Puccia and found it on the menu here. The restaurant has an amazing vibe and the place small and cute. The service was great as they were very friendly with us. The food was delicious and the allowed us to relish local cuisine. It is definitely recommended to try. The location of the restaurant is quite nice as well right in the city centre.
