Enjoyed my dinner but don’t come before 8:30 unless you want to eat alone. Mostly locals. To me the vegetables were very overcooked but perhaps that is how the locals like it. Open sundays and reservations necessary for Sunday lunch. Huge portions. Very very reasonable prices.
My husband and I had a simple but reslly delicious meal tonight in this pleasant little restaurant. We hadn't thought to book but were seated quickly. Others were not so lucky and were turned away. There was a steady stream of locals coming and going through out the time we were there. We were the only foreigners there tonight. The waitresses were cheerful and patient and took the time to help explain the menu to us in English. We shared a small salami and cheese plate (quite enough for two) and then tried a couple of regional dishes: maccheroni with sausage and rocket and ciceri e tria both delicious. The meals were lovely and hot and well seasoned really tasty! We had a Peroni each, shared 1/2 litre of house red and a small bottle of water and paid 40 euro for dinner including a four euro tip. We are heading off to Sorrento tomorrow otherwise we would be back to try some other regional dishes. We didn't order from it but I noticed there was also a vegan menu available. All in all, very happy to recommend this restaurant.
Bello, buono, economico. posto davvero eccellente. piatti tradizionali della cucina leccese sono fantastici. il menu è limitato a piatti semplici e molto gustosi, per menzionare anche il vino della casa, che è davvero grande. L'ambiente è piacevole e accogliente, il servizio è rapido e cortese. Torno subito.
Anche oggi abbiamo mangiato bene. ottimi antipasti prima e seconda come sempre!
