Osteria Degli Spiriti - Lecce

This osteria is away from the packed crowds in Lecce old town, near the castle. It is a stylish place serving regional cuisine; we had a nice dinner, with friendly attentive staff. Reasonably priced.

Please don 't eat at this restaurant. We had the worst meal of our trip here. The food was so disgusting that it encouraged me to make an account and write this review. To begin, this place is pretentious. They serve strange experimental appetizers drenched in heavy sauces that 'll make your stomach churn. There are €1000 bottles on the wine menu. It 's the type of restaurant that gives you a tiny little portion of food unnecessarily placed on a huge plate. One of the main dishes we got was exceptionally bad; the pasta was tough and chewy and the sauce was oddly bitter. Everyone at the table tried it and agreed it was inedible. Over the course of our trip in Lecce we had so many great meals. Go to Osteria da Anguilino. Go to Mamma Elvira. Go to Alle Due Corti. Go to any of the wonderful restaurants in Lecce but please please don 't waste a precious moment of your trip here.

What a beautiful, truly perfect restaurant!! Everything is done impeccably ..delicious, unpretentious food, a vast, extensive wine list, beautiful cocktails, warm and welcoming service ..you are in their home, and it’s pure perfection. Very very few places on the planet could compare other places shouldn’t even try!!!

Locale fantastico, servizio eccellente e piatti di alta qualità. Vale la pena provare un gin tonic alla fine del pasto!

Ambiente piacevole e rilassante, direi davvero molto intimo. Personale cortese ed efficiente. Carta dei vini molto ampia con ottime selezioni. Menù minimale e grande attenzione ai dettagli.
