We had bo... read more Absolutely stunning meal from start to finish. The service, the food and the atmosphere were all amazing. We had dinner on our honeymoon at Lake Como. We had both tasting menu with paired wines, I went for the classic menu and my husband built his own from the A La Cart menu. They also sorted him with paired wines that were all extremely generous portions. We then drove in Seta (2 stars) in Milan to eat a few days later, which came at exactly the same price and I must say the overall experience in La Terrazza knocked it out of the park. Could not remember for a special occasion anymore.

After reviewing comments on this restaurant I thought this would be idea... read more For our last night in Lake Como I wanted to treat my wife to a very special experience. After reviewing comments on this restaurant I thought this would be ideal. We were met warmly by the staff at the door and asked to please wait in the bar area, the table was not quite ready. We seated ourselves among 8 other quests. It took 4 minutes for the wait staff to present us with a cocktail menu. Another couple seated themselves at this time and received a menu right away. A minute later the wait staff took their order and proceeded to walk right past us avoiding eye contact. I waited another 3 minutes with still no wait staff around and decided to forgo the the cocktail and start dinner. We weren't going to let this rude start ruin out evening. Having spent already 5 days in the Lake Como area dining at some incredible places I was expecting this experience to be exceptional. It wasn't. The food was average compared with some extraordinary meals we've enjoyed prior and certainly not worth the prices they charged,
