La Strada Del Vino Wine Bistrot - Lecce

It was Saturday evening at 21:00, we liked to sit outside and the people speak English what helped a lot with and what to order. they combined a bit fish, because some of us dont eat meat. and a nice white wine was recommended.

We just completed the La Strada Del Vino Wine Bistrot Orecchiette cooking class today, what a great way to spend a few hours. Learn to cook Orecchiette, have it cooked for you and sample some wines whilst you enjoy the meal

We thoroughly enjoyed a private tour of the vineyards and winery reception at Feudi di Guagano winery near Lecce arranged through La Strada del Vino Wine Bistrot. Our driver, Loronzo, was an interesting, amicable young man, and the winery representative, Marco, gave us a great lesson on the origins and current day business of winemaking in this negroamaro region of Puglia. We were treated to a tasting experience of five of the Feudi di Guagnano wines. The afternoon concluded with a wine tasting lunch at the Bistrot hosted by Michele. Delightful and highly recommended.

Made orecchiette and shared four types of wine after the class. The meal was served with explanations and details given in English. Highly recommended for a fun and delicious experience.
