After shopping the busy streets of Lecce, we found this cafe on a quite corner. Attracted by the 10 Euro lunch specials. Had the calamari and shrimp, tuna salad and panninie carpeze sandwich. All selections include a glass of wind. Total bill was 40 Euros for 4 of us. Food was fresh and served ordered. Although there were some language issues,our waiter was very patient and helpful. Good value for money. The servings are hearty and the service is fast! The food is fresh and never disappoints. I always make sure i order their seafood platter for €10 and my partner gets their pizza €5-6). It's nice al fresco dining, shame about the flies and bugs that seems to populate Lecce in the summer though.
Stumbled across this Whilst out on the bikes. What a find. Superb service. Very generous with the portions...Food and vino ; . Really well priced. Very fresh and tasty. Oh and did I mention the service...

This a great value pizza restaurant most costing just 5 euro's . It's on the way into the old town and is very busy. Great place for people watching while dining or having a drink.
The service was friendly and welcoming and the staff were accommodating of our very limited Italian! The pizzas were delicious, we highly recommend the Apollo Cafe for an escape from the heat of the midday sun :
