Okra was over done, fish was over cooked I do not eat or like hot hot hush puppy's. They are horrible. Steak was like shoe leather. He ordered bake beans n got green beans. You really need a cook that knows how to cook food right. We have ate there several times. Use to it was wonderful food. Last three times we've ate there its been bad. Nothen like it use to be for the price. View all feedback.

Parking: Regular old parking lot right in front of the restaurant
To start off we get seated, for some reason all of our sides got brought to us before our entree’s. Weird right? Once we got our food the pulled pork was over salted, catfish old and dry, and the smoked chicken had absolutely no flavor and so dry you couldn’t eat it even with the bbq sauce! To get the nasty tastes out of our mouthes was going to get a peach cobbler; but our waitress decided to just give us the bill without ever asking. Once brought to somebody else’s attention as to what happened they just kinda shrugged their shoulders. Will not go back!
Ribs were outstanding, catfish very good, sides were fine, tarter sauce needs work, dessert was unremarkable, service was great, atmosphere was fine, prices were reasonable. I'd say Dowd's is among Lebanon's best and certainly a safe bet.
Food was fair. The flavor of the ribs/bbq sauce beans were overly spicy, but not spicy hot. I'll try their catfish the next time.
