1st time there. My husband and I were the only guest. Servers were attentive enough. Plate was cold food was hot. Rice was sticky and cold. It was sort of pricy too. The menu is extensive so we might give it a go again.
What Shirley Shaw doesn't like about New China Inn:
I moved to Lansing a month ago, been seeing the building, never see a lot of cars parked could be because of the times I pass by. Went in last evening had the curry chicken and fried rice, it was terrible the chicken had no seasoning/flavor the rice looks horrible and the food was not good. I paid my bill, left the food on the table and came home View all feedback.

I have always loved them. Sometimes the food isn’t the best but today it was all Very amazing.
Great and fresh food. Very nice employees with a great atmosphere.
Delicious food every time! Kid-friendliness: Very good with kids!
I saw the “4 star reviews” and dismissed the negative reviews. Bottom line up front, look at the 1 star reviews before you order! Tried this place and was extremely disappointed. What I received for the over priced amount I paid for was crazy. Small portions, old reused fried rice, and nasty egg foo young (wasn’t normal Chinese food egg foo young and made my stomach upset). I was upset that there are no leftovers because small portions and many bland, unappetizing items I ordered. Egg foo young; nasty. Fried rice; yesterday’s rice with extra soy sauce. Egg drop soup; my son said it tasted like blood…metallic (I unfortunately agreed and dumped it down the sink). Beef and broccoli was good but the portion was too small for 13.95. Overall, I will not eat here again and will drive to Platte City for Chinese food (assuming the place I like will make egg foo young despite being busy). Anyway, don’t waste your money here
