Contribute FeedbackThis restaurant, located in a worn-out hotel, received mixed reviews. While some praised the staff's friendliness and service, others found the food to be overcooked and mediocre. One party even left due to a reduced menu and strong chlorine smell. Although some dishes were delicious, like the fondue, others fell short of expectations. Overall, the restaurant's atmosphere and views were enjoyable, but the overall experience was average at best. Despite shortcomings, some diners still left satisfied, especially those who enjoyed a New Year's Eve dinner with exceptional service.
Our experience was mediocre, which is reflected in the 3-star rating. It took 10-15 minutes for our server to greet us after being seated, despite being the only table. The staff appeared more focused on chatting at the bar than assisting customers. The food was average; the fondue was delicious, but our daughter's chicken strips and fries were just ok. We felt we could have gotten a better meal at a fast food restaurant for a lower price. We likely won't return to this restaurant the next time we visit Leavenworth.
I guess I expected more for the price of the resort and the limited reservations on New Year's Eve. It was clear they turned away walk ups because of staffing.
Perfect place to warm up with good food and drinks. Staff super friendly!
The food flavors were good but very overcooked. The bartender was our waiter and served to the best to his ability, was kind, but was untrained. A simple restaurant trying to be high end but failed.
It was our Christmas dinner at 4:30 pm. Our medium prime rib was so well done, it appeared to be cooked days ago. The service was non existent. I WISH we would have known, I would have gotten an Italian cheese meat tray in town to go with the wine we brought and had an excellent dinner. Also, the hotel is worn out. Thankfully we didn’t spend much time there.
