Subway - Leary

Awful experience. Stale bread, poorly made sandwiches. Disappointing.

We made a pit stop at Love's to grab a sandwich and take a break. We had to wait in line at the sandwich station for quite some time. One of the employees was just topping up one of the meat trays that was already almost full, ignoring the growing line of customers. She then started sweeping the floor without acknowledging anyone. Finally, another employee asked us what type of bread we wanted, but we declined and left without ordering due to the chaotic and disorganized service. Overall, the service was rated a 1 out of 5.

I would typically give this place a 5-star rating and have positive things to say, but tonight's service was far from it. The staff seemed disinterested and made mistakes with our orders. They were also out of certain items. I ordered the new turkey cali fresh sandwich, but it only had 5 pieces of turkey on a footlong sub and was missing the bacon. This experience was disappointing, especially since my partner and I have been loyal customers since the restaurant opened.

I am disappointed with the poor attitudes of the staff at this restaurant. I have been on the road all day and feeling tired, so I usually prefer Subway or McDonald's. However, I have given this place a chance twice now and will not be returning. I am still waiting for my order as I write this review. I question why they choose to work in customer service if they don't enjoy interacting with people. It seems they may only prefer certain types of customers.

The server was very friendly and the service was excellent. I ordered takeout for lunch and the price per person was between $10–20. The food was fantastic, I give it a 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great, I would rate it a 5 out of 5 as well.
