We were on our way to the States and stayed in Leamington overnight. The Gingerbread was one of the hotel's recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised at the variety offered for breakfast. I had an egg and bacon combination, the home fries were homemade not frozen hash browns. My husband had an omelette which was tasty as well. The service was pleasant and they had a few regulars come in for breakfast while we were there which is always a good sign.

The Canadian bacon was very good. The staff was friendly and nice. You can tell this was a respectable place. We noticed a lot of the staff new the customers by name which felt nice.

Taking the scenic to Windsor and hit Leamington around lunch time. Found this place downtown and decided to give it a try. Place is a little dated but was clean and wait staff was pleasant. Food was good, price was about right and servings were fine. Would drop in again and recommend to others.

The servers and the man in the cash register were super nice and accommodating. We waited about 45 minutes for our breakfast. I have an egg sandwich combo and my Bf has eggs Benedict with peameal bacon. My combo included a lentil soup that was just not good. My fries on my plate were all overcooked and while I had eaten the waitress brought me a huge plate of pommes and said that they short-circuited me so that it was nice and these fries were really good. Her severity was delicious. But my egg sandwich fell apart when I tried to eat it, so I just cut it open. The bottom of the eggs was burned to rubber so I had to remove the burnt part. Since we had waited so long and the staff were so nice, I didn't say anything about the food, but I probably won't go back: I asked my bf what evaluation he would give and he said 2.5.
