Ample parking outside. Located in a gorgeous plaza. I had the black berry bear claw french toast. I didn't get a picture of it because I devoured it the moment I got it. Wasn't so crazy bout the Irish Benedict for the St. Patrick's Day special. Too heavy and not super flavorful but filling. This was my first time here and I'd definitely come back and try some other things on the menu! Nice friendly staff and they als... View all feedback.
Definitely your mom and pop vibe. Salad fresh and crisp. Meat, well tenderize and flavorsome. Cornbread, soft and fluffy. Meals come as pictured and portioned. No Ala cart. Price was fair.
Good prices. Great staff. The server was very welcoming and personable. She had a great sense of humor. I was impressed with their menu. Lots to chose from. They offer many of their dishes in different sizes, which is really nice. I ordered from their a little less menu and it was still a lot of food. So much so, that I didn 't have room for dessert (the pies looked delicious however). Definitely coming back to try their breakfast. Just an FYI, they serve breakfast all day. I liked their decor. It 's a cross between a diner and a log cabin.
Literally the worst pickup experience I?ve ever had, that?s that?s saying quite a bit. For starters, I was picking up some soup for my boss, and I couldn?t even get the front door open. Customers had to help me, while the staff watched in amusement. So I pick up $8 worth of soup, which the staff member just motioned to for me to grab myself. I get back to work, and I realize they?ve literally just put a tiny (about half a cup) of soup in a bag, with no napkins, plastic ware, nor crackers. So we call to ask about it, and they answer the first time. They literally said ?I don?t know?, then hung up. After that they wouldn?t answer the phones, so I had to drive all the way back there to explain the situation. I asked for a manager, and the man at the front (a red headed guy wearing a backwards cap) said he?d get one, but then I sat there and waited while he dealt with everyone else besides me. I ended up waiting 20 minutes, and instead of the manager coming out to meet me, the same guy brings out a second (cup) of soup (a completely different soup, mind you) and tells me that I cannot speak to a manager and basically tells me that?s that. All the while I?ve been helping their own customers open their front door, which the staff cared nothing about (and seemed to be finding it amusing that people were struggling, by giggling and smiling at those people. I?ve never had such terrible, uncaring service from a chain restaurant establishment before. I?m honestly surprised they even gave me another (completely different) soup. If I could rate Black Bear zero stars, I would. Don?t bring your family here, they don?t care about you or your business.
Very good breakfast. My wife loved that her waffle had a bear paw. I had the pancakes which were good as well. The theme is awesome. The staff is friendly. They forgot the fruit and whipped topping, which costs extra, but the waitress brought it out on a small plate and apologized before I could even bring it to her attention. The portions were big, and the price was was right. Get here early, because it is a popular spot.
Love the decor and theme. Makes me feel like I'm in the mountains. I enjoyed the Blackberry Claw while my husband enjoyed the scramble bowl. Everything was delicious! Connie was a great Waiter! We will return. I love the variety of different menu options.
