Friendly staff! Clean and welcoming! After a long day of driving, this was a nice restful place to eat. Hot beef and the hot turkey were good. The home made bread is marvelous!
This is a second visit for us. The last visit was several years ago and since it was on our route we decided to have breakfast there again. A good choice. There was only one waitress (Holly V. in the place but she provided excellent service. She served us water and coffee promptly and took our order. The food came out promptly and was prepared nicely. One individual had the meat lover's omelet. Another had biscuits and gravy, eggs over easy, and bacon. I had pancakes, two scrambled eggs, and bacon. We all thought the food was excellent as was the service. We have only had breakfast there and think this is an excellent place for breakfast. They also have several specials. Today they offered eggs, Benedict, with ham or salmon.
Wow, what a surprise was the food here not only plentiful, but it was delicious. After almost 8 hours on the road, we thought of an overnight stay in a nearby hotel. We're hungry. I had a chicken over pasta dish that came with one side. I ate everything, including the potato soup. It was fabulous. I made room for dessert, cake with custard filling, which was also excellent. So when you travel I-74 and stop in Leroy, Jack's Cafe is a must to visit!
We ate here for dinner. Service was really great and so was the food. Spaghetti was good and a large part, enough for two.
