Opposite an industrial zone but on the grassy side of the road, it has 120 seats inside and the same out on the terrace, and it's always full. This restaurant sells the view (which is fine) and the ambience (which is agreeable). It is all downhill from there, the service arrogant and nonchalant, the owner dismissive (accuses the diner for not appreciating poor service and bad cuisine), the food substantially inferior to what was once served in Swiss railroad buffets, 2nd Class. Restaurant in the top of Lausanne. The setting is a little old fashioned. Warm welcome. Wide choice of dishes on the menu, surely too. Good meat, no complaints, fair price.
Excellent Italian restaurant. We live just up the road and eat here regularly. Their pizzas are always good, as is their homemade pasta, but my favorite is their own cordon bleu.
Ce restaurant se situe en dehors des centres urbains, mais rapidement accessible en voiture (5-10 minutes depuis le centre de Lausanne). Le service est très sympathique. Quant à la carte, elle offre énormément de choix. Mais, alors que d'autres restaurants privilégient la quantité à la qualité, les plats servis au Coucou sont tous excellents! A recommander très vivement!
Nous sommes allés pour dîner dans ce restaurant. J'ai pris une salade mêlée suivi d'une pizza, mon épouse à également pris une pizza. La salade fraîche, très bonne et bien garnie. Les pizzas sont excellentes, bien que je préfère une pâte un peu plus épaisse.
Je vais très régulièrement dans ce restaurant et je ne suis jamais déçu. Les menus du jour sont très bien servis. Le personnel est sympathique. La terrasse est agréable mais l'intérieur aussi. Le plateau de dessert vaut le détour.
