the first time at unity diner and we will definitely come back! eating is tasty and definitiw satisfying/filling with generous portions. we shared the mozzarella sticks (very tasty and shoes close to the original,) prawn tempura (good texture, but could taste a bit more tasteful), followed by truffle suffles with clobpy fries (a dream cocktails are also a must try. I was excited to visit Unity Diner since all profits go to animal rights work, it looks trendy and the menu is full of guilty pleasures. Sadly the food wasn't that impressive. Some of it was quite bland and disappointing. Reservations are also only for an hour so we felt like we were on the clock, particularly after seeing another table were asked to vacate their table and move to the bar to finish their desserts. Amazing restaurant! Super friendly staff, dog friendly too! 110% make the journey to come here, it's very worth it! Great vibes, and even better food! I had the drumsticks to start which I'd highly recommend! The prawnz were so realistic! And the tofish burger was phenomenal! But seriously, the loftus biscoff cheesecake...
The food was banging... all cruelty free! The fried chikken drumsticks with the hot sauce and yes the tempera prawns delicious. Top it all off the biscof cheesecake cake was heavenly!! Looking forward to inviting friends. Delicious
Very nice that it is a non-profit restaurant. really can recommend the tofufish. very delicious!
That's been on my list for a long time. it didn't disappoint! I had the kale caesar salat and it was perfect! the staff was beautiful, so friendly and chatting. can't wait to go back.
