Just went to Iowa BBQ company for the first time after hearing about it from a friend! Didn't catch our servers name but he couldn't of been more helpful! Taught us the ropes and even let us try a couple meats before we decided. Food was the best smoked pulled pork and brisket that we've ever had from a restaurant. Corn bread was to die for. Overall 10/10 experience and highly recommend. View all feedback.
We enjoyed the delicious barbecue at this restaurant. We ordered half a pound each of brisket and pulled pork, as well as a side of baked beans, a side of coleslaw, and a side of mac and cheese for our child. My wife and I were very satisfied with our meal.
You will not be disappointed at this restaurant. I tried a variety of dishes and everything was of very high quality. The brisket and ribs had beautiful pink smoke rings.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! It was definitely worth the drive from Sioux City. I will be returning soon. The brisket, chicken, ribs, and sausage were all amazing and definitely worth trying.
I was too busy enjoying my meal to take a photo! I ordered pulled pork, cole slaw, and roasted okra. The pork had a mild smoky flavor and was perfectly charred and salty. The cole slaw was creamy and delicious. The fried okra was not greasy, coated in a cornmeal batter, and served with a tasty dill sauce. The BBQ sauces were fantastic - the Missouri was good, but the verde was my favorite, especially when paired with the pulled pork. The combination was like a delicious fusion of smoked meat with Mexican influences. Every bite, including the creamy cole slaw and crunchy fried okra, was satisfying. Despite a disappointed customer leaving because they were out of brisket and sausage, I thought the restaurant was doing a great job considering the challenges of the current COVID situation. I look forward to returning when I am in the area again.
I regret not taking a picture because I was too busy enjoying the food! I ordered half a pound of pulled pork, Cole slaw, and fried okra. The pork had a subtle smoky flavor, with a perfectly charred and salty exterior. The Cole slaw was creamy and delicious. The fried okra had a light cornmeal breading and was served with a tasty dill sauce. I tried the Missouri and Verde BBQ sauces. The Missouri was sweet and my husband loved it, but the Verde was my favorite as it complemented the pulled pork well. Despite some issues with availability, I think the restaurant is doing a great job, especially during the challenges brought on by COVID-19. I can't wait to visit again when I'm back in the area!
