His reputation precedes him and honors his reputation very well. So, yes it’s very expensive, but not just eating in a restaurant. It’s about spending a very memorable time in a pleasant place (and it’s not free) View all feedback.
A little care for us, reception and impeccable service!
Very nice experience, we had taken the menu in 5 services to 90 euros. Accord mets wines 35 euros . The snacks and all the dishes served were delicious, surprising but excellent chords like cheese accompanied by a madęre. Excellent birthday souvenir.
Excellent restaurant with a warm welcome, a staff at your breakfast. A treat at both the visual level and taste buds and a subtle mix of flavors.
Very good menu, a pity that dessert is not at the level of the rest
A moderately conclusive experience Originally from the region but not having had the opportunity to go to the Auberge de Bagatelle since obtaining a Michelin star, I decided to try the experience on Christmas Eve. Although the dinner was auspicious, we soon encountered a number of inconveniences, some of which clearly marred the experience. We started with a glass of wine as an aperitif while we ordered the tasting menu and chose a bottle of wine to accompany the meal. The appetizers were nicely presented, generally classic in flavors but effective, it worked quite well and suggested a sequel of the same level. Unfortunately, with the arrival of the other guests we quickly noticed that it was cold and mentioned it for the first time. The dishes followed in a rhythmic manner and were, like the appetizers, classic but good. However, another element detracted from the experience: an altercation between two waitresses in the center of the restaurant, one criticizing the other for not doing much. If this is not acceptable in a restaurant, it is even less so in a Michelin-starred one. This event surprised us, it is the first time that we have noticed a “settling of scores” in a gourmet restaurant. Furthermore, although the wine I had chosen was excellent, the sommelier did not follow the temperature of the wine that I was forced to take out of the ice bucket, the latter being much too cold: it is certainly a lesser evil and I don't hold it against the sommelier, however this should not happen in a Michelin-starred restaurant either. We reported a second time that we were cold and one of the waitresses told us that they were trying to resolve it properly... The cold could perhaps have been controlled if a particularly noisy group with a serious lack of interpersonal skills did not had not decided to come to dinner that same evening: this is the first time that I have seen a guest go and get a toolbox during a meal: construction site joke or other joke in bad taste, we will never know but we have noted the astonishment, to remain measured, on the part of the servers. Many guests were also surprised by the clothing style of the said group, the OM jogging leaving something to be desired in a star-studded outfit, but perhaps I am too conservative, it's a detail, I readily admit. As we approached the cheese we expected to see the cheese cart arrive but instead we got a dish based on melted cheese that was generally disgusting. Not that it was bad but one spoon was more than enough. Finally, I didn't like the dessert but it's a matter of the palate. When we left we reminded us that we had been cold, we were told that they were aware and that someone would have to come and do what was necessary in the coming days. The problem existed before our arrival, was known and no waiting measures had been planned. I'm sorry but for a star, this is not normal. Dining while being disturbed by the temperature clearly ruined our experience, especially since the bill was rather hefty: 145 euros per head excluding drinks. Ultimately, for more than 400 euros we expect something else. The dishes were good but the experience did not live up to legitimate expectations for such an establishment, which is a shame. We will not return and will invite our loved ones to go elsewhere.
