we had only a few hours before the ferry, so pleased to see this place only opened by 7, only a few minutes from check-in for bretagne ferry. eating was absolutely amazing, very inexpensive, fresh aromen and a bit. the service was perfect, the waiter helpful and friendly and understanding for our need to finish quickly. highly recommended! Was going there on a Saturday evening with quite some hope having read positive reviews on the place and by the fact that the restaurant was full.. but I have to say that the food was of a very poor taste, ridiculous Accras, probably frozen, poor chicken quality.. average cocktails. Not an impression of freshly made food nor quality. The ensemble just did not match the promise. It was just put together on a plate without harmony and I have the impression without interest or passion. was it because we were there late in the evening and only got left-overs? Efforts were made on the presentation though but not compensating the poor quality of the food. Service was somehow fine... Was I just an exception? maybe... but decided not to go again.
Saveurs Ile MauriceFriendly family run business in Le Havre.I was on a business trip in Le Havre and found this restaurant. A business partner and I had diner there one evening. The owners was very welcoming and suggested a couple of things from the menu. We were not disappointed with his choice. A real taste of the Mauritius island, freshly cooked for you to eat in a relaxing exotic décor.Good selection of hot and mild dishes on offer and good Mauritius beer to help it down. Hot sauce is served a side so you can mix the desired amount for yourself.Overall experience was very pleasant, the service was as good as the food. The warm welcome and complimentary Rhum will guaranty my return to this establishment. You may want to book in season to guaranty a table. On street parking on side streets, free in the evening.Enjoy
The food is very good and tasteful. Samosas were fantastic, and the magret de canard a delight. You can ask for extra strong spices (but extra strong for French taste, ie not that strong). Service was very friendly. The view is over the ferry harbour.
We had a good night. Everything was very good and well presented. Thanks again for your welcome and kindness, as well as the attention to our son, who celebrated his birthday tonight. See you.
Super small restaurant, very warm welcome. There are not 300 dishes on the map, which is a quality pledge. Everything was good, prices are reasonable and kitchen without cracks and delicious. I recommend for lovers of the spoon and Indian Ocean cuisine! We will come back with pleasure (especially for rougale and coconut pie!
