Stopped here for some drinks ....two large beers, two lemonades, one ice tea and a Coca Cola together with two portions of chips....almost 39€ so not cheap but the location is good for people watching. We were served promptly and with a smile and although we ordered in French the waiter was pleased to try out his English. Toilets clean but very hot so don't linger as they don't have a window and little air.... Always... View all feedback.
What cormacf236 doesn't like about Cafe De Paris:
Great location, right along where you can watch the many boats in and out of the port, the many passers by and friendly staff. That’s the reason for 2/5...the menu is totally deceiving, the photos ressemble nothing you get and you leave dissatisfied. Calimar, Accra’s, chips all fat too oily, but the salad Gresier absolutely to avoid. Well worth a stop for a beer or coffee, but avoid the food. Real pity. View all feedback.
It is not the kings of the presentation, but the plates are copyy and the dishes are good. We took a menu at 23 euros with varied salad at the choice of entry, gamba skewers and fries in main dish and 2 ice balls in dessert. Good value for money. And the servers are competent and friendly. Small flat : At the end of the season they sometimes adapt according to what they have left shrimp instead of gambas and dessert ice ball with vanilla instead of lemon. But it's done with the smile so it goes.
Nice discovery thanks to a friend who's been there for years. We were out of season so beautiful day and not too many people. The place is atypical, with a good atmosphere. There is only the embarrassment of choice for dishes, the salads are huge and are enough for a meal alone. We've been enjoying ourselves. I put a star in hand because the waiter, without being unpleasant, did not pick up a smile or a word, he looked completely blasphemed. Okay it's the end of the season and I imagine summer was exhausting, but pulling the trunk to two tourists who want to spend a good time is purely free and it's a shame.
Excellent establishment! It has become a real institution on the King's Grau, an essential reference.
Professionals with a very correct quality of food, we go there regularly with pleasure, I can only recommend this establishment..
8 accras ., fried chicken skewers red cabbage salad on a hearty plate for men of 20 euros served quickly with the smile after 1:30 pm late September, I think it's a good house and I'll be back there.
