We were staying on the island and there are other excellent restaurants, we decided to try it as we had not eaten, We were driving past when returning to our Hotel in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains. Firstly we were told that we could only sit outside as they were full (it was a cold evening), they were almost empty, they do not like adults either. The food was very overated and my fish was raw, so I could not eat the main course. I was told by the lady that that is the french way!
Came here several years ago and remembered the wonderful appetizers...didn’t disappoint this time. It has recently changed hands to the master chef becoming the new owner but the food remains inspired.
Typical place of the region with exceptional finesse of tastes. I especially loved the marinated octopus, a delight. I can only recommend this address. Please note, remember to book!
Very good restaurant which is worth a detour. The setting is very pleasant and the dishes are surprising while remaining very pleasant in the mouth. Remember to book in advance if you want to have a pleasant time.
The food looked great, but unfortunately it didn't live up to its promise in terms of taste. It's nice to sit in, but that and the look of the dishes don't justify the prices.
