I'm posting a review because I saw the previous one and I was a little dreading going to lunch this afternoon. However, I tested it with my wife, her sister and a couple of passing friends. Well, we were pleasantly surprised. The nice and friendly boss sat us outside in the alley because it was cooler there. Well it lacks a bit of decoration and greenery. Otherwise the lunch menu during the week at 16€ su (starter/main course/cheese/dessert/wine. We also tasted its “charolais parfait” (very good) at 8.50€, and the fries with fat beef a treat.. there's no fuss. A simple, good, and affordable restaurant.. Apparently they have taken over the restaurant and the hotel since May 2024. I haven't seen the rooms, but I like it. the room with the bar and especially the large beveled mirrors and the ceilings, a little paint and sagging, with some greenery and a little decoration in the alley, and it will make a very friendly place.

Everything was delicious: tarrin de st jacques (or melon or museau salad... , steack charollais vegetables to choose from, fish with oseille, vegetables to choose from, Among the desserts: floating island, burned cream, lemon pie, apples... 15 € entry, dish and cheese or stir. 1/2 pichet de rosé 5 € ! We'll come back despite the old-fashioned decor and not too clean but friendly old bosses, a good refreshment and that would be perfect. Such places are rare today...

The flush in the room had not ev... read more An odor of old-fashioned everywhere. The shutters of the room closed when we arrived, obviously not ventilated for a long time. The flush in the room had not even been fired since the previous occupant. The bed covers and blankets are wet. The deplorable bedding...bref... never again! The owner is kind and makes jokes to the children at the table... but this is the only positive point of the stay. Because even the meal was poor. Vinaigrette doesn't date from the day. The fries were frozen... industrial desserts...
