bistrot is the little brother of the gastronomic restaurant that is located in the same establishment and in the line of it. The kitchen is simpler but excellent the panorama is the same ask to be placed in front of the ocean you will not regret it.To take a break you can one evening go to taste eightres that have a small taste of hazelnut mussels the establishment has a beautiful wine map View all feedback.
What Corinne Lombard doesn't like about L'Océan:
I wrote a review on a dinner at the restaurant that unfortunately was registered under the heading "hotel" I wish to repeat it because the trip is worth the paid one: no originality for a restaurant that wants to be gastronomic, certainly the cooking of the fish is perfect on qualite products but no accompaniments worthy of desserts to avoid especially the fine tart: already spongious at the start, add caramel sauce... Exceptional place for a seaside meal and the beautiful cross-country coast. for fish lovers, very varied map. Fancy atmosphere. quality of the dishes. I recommend.
A very nice address, but where you have to know how to choose...Specialties are exceptional, and you come for them, as well as for the amazing panoramic view on the wild coast and on the sea...Book in advance, especially during holidays scoars, and ask for a tab in front of the sea...The specialties therefore, not to be missed: the bar in the croute of salt, or then in the paste. generous servings, the bar is beautiful and the perfect cooking, superb service, accompaniment of small vegetables and white or lemon butter sauces. in desert, take the souffed (corner, large marnier or green lemon), magnificent...The rest is less good, any entries (avoid to sea salad), and the prices fairly high...In summary, not to miss if you like the bar, the prmière times in salt croute, and the next time in leafy paste, and blown them in desert. No need for entry, the bar is served very generously.
A very good time in an idyllic setting, excellent dishes, whirlpool bar to recommend. however, no high menus and rates.
The view is beautiful is sure but after that can not compensate for everything. dishes (very) expensive for very classic, quality products and well cooked but it is the minimum as to the claim of this type of status. in the end nothing very gastronomic service a little old, like the general atmosphere. dessert flat at 60€ without wines or madness. honestly at this rate in the region you will have the embarrassment of choice. varied wine menu.
