Hotel La Cascade - Le Bourg-d'Oisans

What User likes about Hotel La Cascade:
Drawn by previous comments we parked the car outside and a kind lady came to the gate to tell us that nowadays you can't just come by, because primarily they serve their own hotel guests. SHe offered to bake me an egg (as a vegetarian) but told me I was better off in town. I found that very honest and kind, so if you want to eat there: call in advance. In the end we didn't stay there but this deserves 4 points View all feedback.

Where to begin? The moldy red pub carpet? The cracked linoleum bath room floors? The fact that the (English) management tells you that they "don't know who owns the hotel, but they don't care because they are going home soon"; the canned vegetables and frozen tofu patty that goes for vegetarian?
