Went here for dinner last night and had a lovely evening. Great atmosphere and service. Cocktails were good and really cheap. Majority of the food is pasta so not really traditional Mexican. Great shrimp pasta though. Definitely worth a visit! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Los Peleones:
The ambience is quite nice. Everything is very slow: drinks 20 minutes, entrees 35, mains more than 1 hr. Serivce is average, cause the only thing they do well is asking "everything ok",while you have you mouth full and can answer, forgeting pretty much doing everything else. But the main disappointment was the food. Lobster taco was dry and tasteless, fish in sake sounds nice, but actually smth very sad between capacc... View all feedback.
We had a quick lunch before the ferry back to the mainland. The pastas here are great! And no, this isn't just about the wrestling. The room at street level is very cozy and quiet.
We stumbled across this little gem of a restaurant on our second night in Holbox. Mainly Italian food, lovely bruschetta to start. Nice pastas for our mains, also some Lovely chicken tacos. Desserts were nice too, chocolate brownies. The bill was very reasonable, the restaurant was great value for money with very tasty food. The design and layout was very nice, with Laura, the manager, an excellent host. A must try if in Holbox.
Great night at this place! A more varied menu than many places here. The staff was so helpful friendly. Had some nice wines. The view from the rooftop was lovely.
We visited last night, following recommendations from trip advisor. The staff were friendly and they showed us the specials board as soon as we arrived. The specials were a lot more expensive than the main menu, but not ridiculously priced. My boyfriend opted for the recommended ravioli and I went for the pesto pasta with shrimps. The food was quite nice, but it did take 45 minutes for it to come. We weren't too fussed about the wait, but worth thinking about if you're hungry! My boyfriend's ravioli was cold and my pasta warm, so he sent his back to be reheated. My prawns were pretty chewy, but the dish was nice in general. In total, $455 for a beer, water and two mains - it was our first meal on the island, so we aren't too sure if this is expensive or cheap, but it was a good experience on a pleasant rooftop!
