Famous Dave's -b-que - Layton

Our food wasn't great by any means. My wife's food was burnt yet somehow frozen and mine was over cooked. The waiter and greeter were really sweet but not sweet enough to make the time there worth it.

Our service was an embarrassment to my guest. The food was serviced less than room temperature. My chicken was burnt and the corn on every plate was cold. I had to ask twice for butter. The waiter never came back to check on us. We needed more drinks and had to go looking for a waiter. There was no one to be found on the floor at all. A Major disappointment

As always great food and service. Erica is our regular server and she always does great. The rib tips are my favorite and their lunch specials are a great value.

I had a Dave's BBQ bowl with Mac n' Cheese and Brisket. It came with a corn muffin. It was delicious! It was almost more than I could eat. A generous portion. I also shared a bread pudding with my brother! It was superb!! It was served on a good-sized platter with whipped cream on both sides and a scoop of ice cream on top!! It was also a giant sized portion, more than enough for two people! The music in the restaurant was excellent country music! Our server was good but a bit too busy to be as on top of things as she should have been. Famous Dave's is an excellent place overall. If you go before 5, you won't have to fight a crowd!

Stopped in for lunch on my way to the airport. I believe they were short staffed it took longer than one would expect for everything seating, ordering, food and paying.Rural cowboy architecture was comforting. Seats were comfortable.Food was delicious Iris's Fried Chicken and Rib Tips. Ordered broccoli, got Cole Slaw. Cole Slaw was great.
