The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had only been there for two minutes before a large teenage basketball team from Idaho arrived. Despite the sudden rush, the staff remained composed and did not seem bothered by how busy it was. They were efficient and welcoming. View all feedback.
What Gilda Olson doesn't like about Costa Vida:
The service was fantastic, the food was great, but the one downside is that every time I go, the restaurant is too hot to enjoy my meal. This has been a recurring issue, and I feel sorry for the staff. Even though they could raise prices, they can't seem to fix their air conditioning. View all feedback.
Had a dressing on the side in the drivethru, but it did not come with my order. rather strange considering that they were not busy at the time. at least good food. I guess if I pay for extra dressing, I expect my order. These young are also on the dressing. mine was only 3/4 of the way full. So, so everyone knows they serve 3 ounces, not 4 ounces dressing.
The last time I was there, I ordered the chocolate cake to go w my coffee. The icing is perfect amount for the small cake. Best dessert for a fast food restaurant.
We love Costa Vida, but the experience there has been decreasing as of late. The employees seem like they don’t care and far from professional (and yes I am aware that it is a fast food restaurant…but still). The pictures are from what we ordered today and the food tasted great, but was definitely lacking. The salad barely had any thing and was very slim. The enchiladas looked like they took a scoop out of the rice (like they were out and didn’t want to go through the process of refilling it for our order) and had very little meat.
Stood in line for 30 minutes to order (another 10-15mins to get through the serving line and the register) one of the employees was talking (yelling) so loud that nobody else could hear over him. His coworker even asked him very politely if he could please tone it down some because he was having a hard time hearing the customers. The same loud employee bent down and reached under his apron and wiped his nose WHILE STANDING IN FRONT OLL OF THE SAUCES AND GUACAMOLE then proceeded to continue working without changing his gloves, washing his hands... NOTHING! He served another 10 or so customers before a customer standing behind me literally asked him to change his gloves because she too saw this behavior. The best is yet to come....Attached you will see a photo of the foreign OBJECTS that came from my enchilada.. NO not one, BUT TWO!!I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of cleanliness, lack of professionalism, lack of respect even after his coworker kindly asked him to tone it down, the terrible food quality, and most importantly wasting nearly 30 dollars on TWO meals.I will NEVER here again and I will definitely never recommend anyone else to eat there.
This particular one goes out of their way to place as little meat on your burrito. Normally, I don't care when their burritos are 7 dollars, but they are 10 dollars with no drink. I get it, you want to save money, but this is ridiculous. Will not return!!
