Growing up in a city, I developed a taste for homestyle soul food. The flavors at this restaurant perfectly capture that delicious comfort food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to visit. I highly recommend checking it out!

The portions were generous and satisfying, with all dishes freshly prepared. It was a welcome change to dine without any issues with flies or insects in the dining area.

This restaurant is a good option for lunch. I was disappointed that they close at 5pm, as that is usually when dinner starts. I ordered the fried catfish, potato salad, and black-eyed peas. The batter on the catfish was tasty, but the fish itself didn't taste very fresh. The service was a bit slow, but the waitress was always present and friendly. I would recommend this place for Sunday dinner.

My husband and I come here often and I must say the service is always good and the food is very tasteful. We have eaten the rib tips, catfish, porkchops (fried smothered) both are amazing, chicken wings and the gumbo. If you like more or less seasoning just request to your taste since it's cooked at the time you place your order. The portion is great for the price except for the fish sandwich lol they could add an extra piece.
