Ben Roberts Cafe & Gallery - LAWSON

Had breakfast here on Sunday . Coffee was great, food very enjoyable, service was with a smile. Couldn't fault the cafe. We found the cafe by accident it's not on the main road but tucked away in side street.

It is worth going to this restaurant just to absorb the feeling of the lovely old building. One of the oldest houses in Lawson and it has been carefully restored. The front terrace with it's glass screen is a great place for coffee on a sunny day. You can also sit inside or on the glassed-in verandah. Ramp access is through the front door.The coffee and hot chocolate are great and a range of light meals is available as well.

Coffee was too foamy. There's better to be had around the corner. Gallery aspect makes it not kid friendly.

We found this place by accident - it may take a little perseverance but the coffee and hot chocolate was great.The scones were fresh out of the oven and the jam and cream generous. They are just getting started and the service is hesitant but friendly.On sunny days the verandah would be stunning and on a cold winters day in Lawson this friendly place hit the spot .
