Subway - Feedback

What Darlene Thompson doesn't like about Subway:
Subway had a promotion today for their new sandwiches. Between the hours of 10 am and noon they were giving away free 6 inch subs. This was on Clark Howard's blog Atlanta's financial guru 2 days ago. I went in at 11:15 am today. Was told that corporate just told them about the promotion this morning ?? and did not tell which key to use on the computer to say they had given away a 6 inch sub! Rather surprised by the negative reviews of this place. I'm a local and have been to this Subway so many times that the owner recognizes me, my husband, and my daughter. If one of us ever shows up without the other, he always asks after our family and how we're doing. The food is always excellent, and sometimes they give free cookies just for being a loyal customer.
