Shelby's Diner - Lawrenceburg

Shelby's is able to find one of our old favorite memories that are closed, Capital Diner. We were thrilled to try it. We ordered Fried Mushrooms to start. Bread was broken, which I usually am not a fan, but it was delicious! Crispy without being fat. It is served with ranch, which was okay. My husband had the Coney Platter with onion rings and Coleslaw. Chili on the dogs was very good! Hot dog itself saw all beef, lots of taste. Coleslaw was small chopped and tangie. Onion rings were broken and again, delicious dough! I had the BLT with Fritten. BLT was good, lots of bacon and REAL MAYO...not Miracle Whip

Good food! Got 20 minutes before closing, and they were fabulous! Most places get settings when people close nearby, but these ladies were friendly, gave us a drink while we waited and chat with us. Food was fresh, cooked for perfection and left us fat and happy as always!

Southern accents and hospitality. It was a great experience. Place was clean, service was great, FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. I had a bacon double cheese burger level and added Jalapeños. The burger was the size of my face, so if you get what I have, you better get hungry. Probably one of the best burgers I had in Frankfort.

Lunch here in this little neighborhood. Small inside but waitress was friendly and helpful on the menu. Small menu with the basics and at least on special. Fried pimples were ok a little too much bread to pimples. The burger was really good. Handmade patties of good size well prepared really both spot. The prices were very good. Others had fish said ok, chili received high praise along with the big salad. If in the area again near Four Roses and Wild Turkey would eat distillery.

Awesome. Great food. Plenty of food for your money. Very nice and friendly atmosphere! Just always keep the pepsi product. Frankfort has always needed a place with home cooked food and pepsi products. I will definitely be back.
