Rex loved the brisket plate with Coleslaw, Mac n cheese, Mexican cornbread I loved the chicken salad I had with homemade ranch dressing best salad in the city! First time there and we'll go back!

Good food. Better if it's eaten as soon as you get it. The portion sizes have become smaller, but prices have not changed so far

Love this place but the brisket is hit or miss. It is good brisket but when it is cut wrong which is about 40% of the time maybe more from my experience it is almost inedible. If it wasn?t for the brisket cutting issues I would give it a 5. I have been going here for about 3 years now. It is a coin toss as to whether it?s cut right or not.

My husband's got the meat pot and I got the cat. Everything was good, but my favorite part of the meal? was the fried okra! (And there were tons of it! We also got the beef nachos, later to snack, and they were delicious!

I got the rice dish with brisket and everything was tasteful and the rice itself was very moist and delicious. It was just over $8 with taxes and would have liked some more meat, but it's what it is. I came through the ride and no one was in front of me and I got my order very fast. I wish I knew earlier about this place, I just wanted to see it going down a back road. There's a coffee shop I've never heard of. I'm definitely back. Rick's Barbeque is also good, but has no bride or other items like legend does! And they also have different flavors the meat.
