Twisted Fresh - Lawrence

This was our first time dining at the restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised. We both ordered the chicken gyro salad bowl, and everything was delicious. The greens were fresh, the vegetables were full of flavor, and the house-made sauce was a lovely addition. Our food was ready for pick-up even before we had settled in at our table. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that the chicken was a bit dry, but it's often difficult to find juicy white meat chicken in a restaurant. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

Fish in the Midwest? That's something many might think twice about. However, the mahi mahi tacos here are so fresh, they taste like they were caught just this morning. Don't forget to add some of the habanero sauce for an extra kick. It may be a bit of a challenge, but where's the fun in life without a little adventure?

The food was exceptionally fresh and tasty. The staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed the 4-Alarm burger, although I would have liked it to be a little spicier.

This place can be hit or miss, the first time I went I had the mahi mahi tacos and they were amazing. Another day for lunch I ordered the four alarm chicken sandwich. It was supposed to have pepper jack, buffalo, and jalapeno peppers, but the peppers were missing and the chicken was thin and overcooked. There are good items on the menu like the wraps and tacos, just avoid the chicken.

This place is spacious and inviting. I love the atmosphere. First visit, already hooked! The Baja Shrimp tacos are worth every penny. They were just the right kind of spicy and the creamy avocado lime sauce was an excellent pairing. And it was the perfect amount of food to enjoy all of it without feeling stuffed! The staff was nice, the cooks really know what they're doing, it was cool and fun to see literal fire coming off the grill while they cooked our food! My husband got the West coast wrap and says it was amazing too!
